HELLO, WE'RE THE FUNK FAMILY!
In 2022, we moved to Togo, Africa to work at HBB mission hospital for a year. Jason, served as a pilot heading the aviation ministry & transporting doctors between ABWE's northern and southern hospitals, as well as laboring in maintenance of the hospital grounds and missionary compound.
​Charity taught in the MK school and together both were involved in various outreaches including starting and leading men's and women's Bible studies among the precious Kabiye tribe.
Currently living in our home area of South Central PA, together we've had a passion for missions since tying the knot in 2001.
After working stateside with PCCR, a mission formed to reach refugees from the middle east, and doing various outreaches within our local community, in 2020, we joined Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE) with our 6 amazing kids and finally realized the dream of preparing for full time mission work!

Presently back home in PA, we're training for our first 4-year assignment in Suriname- a Caribbean country located on the Northern coast of South America, above Brazil. We'll be joining ABWE's Open Initiative in efforts to introduce the gospel to unreached/unengaged people groups who have immigrated from around the world.

To prepare, Jason recently graduated from- Pittsburg Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) with his aviation mechanics license! We hope to raise our full-term support to 100% and be leaving by the beginning of this summer!
